Living Simply
Simplicity is an important part of Marist Laity
Simplicity is an important part of Marist Laity. Laity infers a multimodal approach to life. As parents, single people, grand parents, retired people, students, managers, cleaners, sisters, brothers, and mums. The Laity part infers that we are who we are in all these degrees of being, but with something special. We integrate God's presence in all that we are. Simplicity plays its part as we filter out the unness...

IrelandLay Marists of Ireland: A Snap-Shot View
In 2000 a Marist Gathering, in Longford, was organised. Longford was chosen because of its central location in the country and is easily accessible for most. The primary purpose was to bring us all together and to have fun. It was a great success and left many calling for repeat gatherings.

Spirituality

All my life for this dream
There are days when I feel that all is going well, and there are others when I do not know what I want, or even the mirrors are not reflecting my true image and I have my heart full of fears. There are moons that come seeking me and there are nights when I start everything again, it is a matter of seeking and knowing always to look, to set out on the voyage is primordial. Tell me when what I am seeking so much will arrive, tell me how what I always hope for will be.
