St Pat's Marist Laity 2005

St. Pat's Marist Laity concluded on 18th November two years of gatherings every third Friday at 6 p.m. in the Crypt at Saint Patrick's, Church Hill. Some are constant friends who come regularly who welcome others who 'drop in' when they are able. A Marian theme is selected each month - prayer, meditation and sharing, occurs around that theme. Some of the themes have been: 'The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin - Mary Model of the Church', 'Mary in Papua New Guinea', 'Pope John Paul 11's Devotion to Mary', 'Mary Our Prayer Person', 'The Holy Name of Mary' and 'Mary as a Refugee'. The group appreciates the great support from St. Patrick's Pastoral Team and We thank Father Patrick Kervin and Sr. Jill de Montford in particular for their ongoing support. We plan to reconvene in March 2006.
