A promise made… ... and fulfilled

The Marist Family gathered again from near and far to celebrate Fourviere Day, hosted by the Marist Sisters, at Hunters Hill. Fr Kevin Bates celebrated Mass and reminded us of the challenge of the Gospel and our call given clearly by Fr Colin to reach out to all - the poor, the weak and the marginalised - no exclusions! As Craig Larkin expresses it: "to be ready to leave our comfort zones and area of safety, to enter the messy, unorthodox and grey areas where the lost are to be found…conscious of no security except that we are acting in the name of the Lord, under the leadership of Mary who has already made a similar journey in faith."
