Father Patrick Kervin sm
Father Patrick Kervin, sm was born in Arncliffe, Sydney and educated at Kogarah Marist. He worked in Banking and still supports St George. In 1977 he joined the Marist Fathers and was ordained a priest by Bishop David Cremin at South Hurstville in 1985.
After initially working in Parish Ministry, Father Patrick has spent most of his time in education, as a teacher and school administrator.
Father Patrick holds a Masters in Religious Education from the Catholic University of America (Washington DC). His appointments have included Lismore, Burnie (Tasmania), Wollongong, Brisbane and since 2004 he has been on the Parish Team at St Patrick's in Sydney city. His main efforts are with the Liturgical Life of the Parish and the Outreach to Young Adults working in the Central Business District. Father Patrick was appointed the Marist Fathers liaison to Marist Laity in 2004.
